This week, I have been reading a book called A Little Princess.  So far, it is a pretty good book.  it is about a little girl named Sara Crewe who’s father is a boat captain.  Since her dad is a captain, she is very rich and gets whatever she wants.  then her father goes out to sea.  while Sara is still in america, she gets a letter from her dad saying that his friend dug up a mine of diamonds.  it turned out that it wasn’t true and she is suddenly poor.  Read it and find out why.  the author of this book is Frances Hodgson Burnett.

Morning is a Long Time Coming is the sequel to Summer of My German Soldier. If you read my Book Review on that book (or better read the book!) then you’ll want to read this one.

It’s when the girl in the book, (forgot her name) goes to Europe to find Anton’s mother in search of some sort o relation to the guy she loved. Even if he’s been dead for 6 years now, she still has plenty of fresh memories about Anton himself. But when she reaches France, she meets Roger, and she isn’t sure if she wants to go to Germany after all. She’s afraid of what she’ll meet and what she’ll leave behind. But then a whole load of things happen that you’ll just have to read the book to find out about.

The book Football Hero is about a boy and his parents are gone. He is sent to live with his evil and drunk around the clock uncle and his family. The only person there he feels a relation to is Charlotte (not sure if that’s right).

But there is some hope. His older brother, Thane, or Tiger as the football players call him, has a chance of going into the NFL for the Jets. That means he’ll get big $$$ and maybe, just maybe, Ty can go live with him. But then everything goes wrong and you’ll have to read the book to figure out who, what, where, when, why.

Football Hero is by Tim Green

He has written other books, such as Football Genius.

Football Genius is about a boy that has this ability to figure out the next moves of a real football game. Something with strategy. Not a practice or something. He gets help from a player in the team, and I know this is a short summary. You’ll have to read it to figure out the rest.

By the way, Tim Green used to be an NFL player.

Greetings, it’s the third week of summer and I bet we are all watching TV, but if you DON’T want to lay around, READ!!! Girls (not boys) , read twilight by Stephinie Meyer, and i think you will enjoy this but, and boys,….. i dont know wat you read but find something!!!

I really liked the camp. I met lots of new people like Chaz, Anderson,James V. , and many more people. I thought it was very fun working with all the technology  and clay.  I may want to come back.

I just finished reading Summer of My German Soldier by Bette Greene (I hope I spelled that right)

The book is about a 12 year old girl living in America during WWII. Her state is holding the captured German Nazis and soldiers prisoners. She begins to see a German escapee living in her garage. She knows that the German has a fondness for her that her parents will never give her. Her only friend besides the German is her housekeeper, an African American. Read the book the figure out what happens to her and the rest of her life.

If you like the book, read the sequel, Morning is a Long Time Coming.

Techsploration has finally ended. Though I wasn’t there to see any of my presentations they were embarassing anyway and they are going to send a cd of them home! so now people since techsploration is over we can type about what ever we want! so tomorrow I am going to wright awesome things none of you have ever even heard about!!!!!!! Today was the last day and we all presented our movies. I think literally all of them were really good. We have an event coming up and my aunt told me to make a movie out of the pictures we take. I’ll try. But I’m pretty sure I can do it.

Camp was the best. I especially liked claymation and the youtube claymation videos. I also enjoy making our claymation videos which were radical. I loved the Oreo claymation because I was one of the creators. I can’t wait to make more claymation videos at home. Camp rocked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
